In many fern groups in Switzerland, the species delimitation has still not been conclusively clarified. We therefore want to clarify as many taxonomic questions as possible.
Activities
For the most part, this subject area includes scientific investigations (collecting herbarium specimens, genetic investigations, etc.), but we are dependent on reports of interesting ferns.

How can you participate?
– Send us photos or herbarium specimens of ferns that you do not know or that are difficult to identify.
– If you are interested in delving deeper into one or more groups of ferns, please contact us. Depending on the fern group, you will receive specific examination instructions and materials.
