Samstag, 14. Juni 2025, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Uhr
We will begin with a visit to the Botanical Garden, including general information, a brief history of the garden, and an introduction to its sectors and greenhouses. We will take a closer look at relict trees, protected and endangered plants, and, of course, ferns. Research and conservation projects at the garden will be presented through examples and anecdotes.
Afterward, we will visit the new exhibition on Fribourg’s herbarium collections (Herbargeschichten/Histoires d’herbiers) at the neighboring Natural History Museum of Fribourg.
